Getting the best out of pelleted shavings

To get started you will need about 15 bags which you should lay out as shown in the first picture.

Next step is to split open each bag

You will then need to add about 3.4 of a bucket of water to each lot of pellets.

Leave them for about 20 mins so that the pellets can fully absorb the water

You will then have a clean, dust-free bed.

Mucking out is so much easier - all you have to do is top up with a bag or two each week.

We use nothing else for all our stables now - and at £2.99 a bag they're a bargain!
